What is CAT?

If you’re new to finance and accountancy – or you already work in it but don’t have any qualifications yet – this is the perfect place to start.

The Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) Qualification is globally recognised and is suitable for anyone looking to gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of finance and accounting. It will provide you with the technical skills and knowledge needed to give your career a flying start at an accounting technician level. And you can even use the letters ‘CAT’ after your name. It’s made up of nine exams and a professional ethics module – and as you work through the qualification you can also achieve certificates and diplomas along the way.
It’s also a stepping stone to the ACCA Qualification- and all the opportunities that being an ACCA member has to offer. And the great thing is, you can start CAT right after your HSC/A-levels/Graduation. As CAT is an entry-route to the full ACCA qualification, you can complete your full ACCA later.
